The Autumn Years 'Angels'

They Have That Something Special

Our staff is truly amazing. They have the knowledge, skill and patience to care for people who are challenged by dementia. They have the energy and systems to do it every day. Plus, they have that special something that comes from deep inside oneself, the combination of drive, compassion and courage that allows them to "cheerfully" assist someone who's memory is flickering and/or fading...even when their own heart is breaking.

Rene Rinehart

Community Director

Rene Rinehart is a native of San Francisco, California, and started his career in public service as a young freelance musician in San Francisco.  As a young man, he entertained seniors in assisted living centers by coordinating classical music performances and by performing as a cellist.  Rene has been a registered nurse since 1999.  He served in the U.S. Army for 12 years, which included six years as a chaplain assistant and six years as an officer in the Army Nurse Corps.  In 2007, Rene earned a Master Degree in Public Health from the University of California, Los Angeles.  He is a very caring and understanding Community Director with a vision and a passion to care for seniors.

Destiny Mia,

Resident Care Administrator

Destiny joined our community after a long career at Sharp’s Coronado Hospital, Sub-Acute unit.  Destiny has been involved in both the Care delivery and Business Administration of Seasons, although her heart has always been with resident care, working in this industry since age 16.  She has been running our wellness program since 2003.  Destiny lives in San Diego with her husband and 4 children, when she’s not assisting our residents to improve their quality of life.

Diane Tapia, LVN

Nurse

Diane is extremely skilled and experienced in providing care for seniors. Plus, she is upbeat and cheerful. Our residents love to sit with her and talk about their medical issues. And Diane is always willing to meet with any of our residents and goes out of her way to do the big and little things that help them feel better. In addition, she has a big heart and genuinely cares for the well-being of our residents.
